The Walker Education and Research Foundation (WERF) is a non-profit organization formed for the benefit of young Canadians, in honour of Dr. Shawn Michael Walker and his father, Mr. Michael Peter Walker. WERF aims to provide youth with a variety of education opportunities centered on Canada to improve student retention, equalize education opportunity, and promote research accessibility to the public.
